We experienced God’s faithfulness to strengthen and sustain us.

  • Hometown: Millerton, New York
  • Children: 5 children, 13 grandchildren
  • Fun fact: I enjoy having people in our home, playing Rook, traveling with Dave and spending time with my grandchildren.

I grew up in a loving and Christ-centered home. I am very thankful for the upbringing and training of godly parents. When I was eight years old I realized I was a sinner and the burden of my sin turned my heart to the Lord. I was by myself when I knelt in front of our sofa and prayed to God confessing my sin and asking Christ to be my Savior. After high school graduation I moved to Iowa to attend college.

During my college years I met Dave and God grew my faith as I shared my faith and convictions with Dave. We were married in 1983. God walked my husband and I through some difficult years regarding the health of two of our children. We experienced God’s faithfulness to strengthen and sustain us, and our faith grew stronger during those years. We have been married 36 years, have five children (five more via marriage), and thirteen grandchildren.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education and have furthered my education in Biblical Counseling.  I enjoy coming alongside other women and “comforting those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God (2 Cor. 1:3).”
