All of our children’s workers on Sundays and at all other events have been through a training process and have successfully passed a background check.
Ages 0 to 36 Months
Our caring workers entertain your little ones while you enjoy our services without worries or distractions. We start our time together playing before transitioning to a snack and short story that presents the Bible in ways that are easy for little ears to digest.
Ages 3 yrs to 1st grade
Lakeside provides two Children’s Church classes: one for 3 year olds to preschool age and another class for Kindergarten-1st grade. Kids learn a Bible lesson with activities and crafts that reinforce the message.
special needs ministry
We’re eager to minister to kids of all abilities and their families. If your child or young adult needs special assistance with group settings, handling loud noises, getting around the building or anything else, please contact us. We have a team of one-on-one helpers who look forward to ensuring that everyone can feel at home worshipping at Lakeside.
Sunday Nights
Kindergarten – 5th grade
On Sunday nights during the school year, we provide a children’s program called Kids 4 Truth from 5:30-7 pm. Kids sing, study the Bible, memorize Scripture and enjoy fun activities.
vacation bible school
June brings one of Lakeside’s biggest annual events as 250+ kids gather each night for Vacation Bible School. Kids enjoy singing, Bible lessons, crafts, games and skits as they learn how much Jesus loves them and wants them to trust in Him. Most years wrap up with a Polk City firetruck showering the entire parking lot with a water cannon!
