Join us for a timely discussion on how strong Christian faith and sound scientific thought CAN co-exist. Guest speaker Dr. Fredrik Sandberg will discuss his personal journey through the scientific field and how God led him from an atheistic worldview to preparing for full-time ministry as a church planter and re-planter in Ireland. Dr. Sandberg will draw on decades as an animal scientist and researcher (and now seminary student) as he explains how Christians can interact Biblically with scientific topics. He will highlight how science can give us a bigger—not smaller—view of God. The morning will include a session where Dr. Sandberg answers your questions about faith and science.
Dr. Sandberg is senior director for monogastric/ruminant research at an international animal nutrition company. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh and came to faith in Jesus Christ while attending Saylorville Church in Iowa. He is currently pursuing seminary training from Munster Bible College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and preparing to serve with Baptist churches in the Republic of Ireland through ABWE. He and his wife, Gemma, live in Ballincolig, Ireland, with their sons, Oscar and Patrick, and daughter, Linnea.
