Church on the Square
Lakeside Fellowship invites you to Church on the Square! We will be holding worship services at the Polk City Square on Sunday, August 16th and 23rd at 9:30am. The service on the 23rd will end will baptisms and a picnic. Grab a chair and join us! There will be a picnic following the service on August 23rd.
GriefShare
From June 14-August 30, Pastor Trevor and Teri will lead a GriefShare group to help our church family and guests navigate the painful process of losing a family member or friend. This group is designed for those 18 and older. On Sundays, 4-6pm, we will discuss: Each meeting includes a teaching video and discussion on how to apply the information to each of our situations. Back To School Bash
Our 2026 Back To School Bash will take place on September 2 from 6 to 8 pm. This event is for 6th through 12th graders and students are encouraged to invite friends. Food will be provided. We’ll also being playing some games that will get messy. We’re encouraging students to wear clothes and shoes they don’t mind getting dirty. We’ll be playing in the grass so they’re welcome to play barefoot as well.
Women’s Fall Kick-Off
Ladies, join us for an evening of food, testimonies, and fun! We will gather together where we will enjoy snacks, worship and testimonies. Please bring a lawn chair. High school girls are also encouraged to attend.

This study explores this wisdom book of Ecclesiastes verse by verse to help women understand the themes of sin, vanity, enjoyment, and death, ultimately encouraging believers to follow the will of God for their lives, no matter their current circumstances. Starting Point
New to Lakeside? Want to get plugged into a Growth Group? Then join us for our summer Starting Point Group! Starting Point is for anyone newer to Lakeside. We will be going through “Stranger on the Road to Emmaus.” This book covers the great themes of the Bible – God’s message to mankind. Starting Point is the entry point into Lakeside’s Growth Groups. Childcare is provided.
Ditch Cleanup
Join us as we clean up our adopted stretch of Hwy 415. We want to ensure that everyone who participates in the cleanup event is safe and able to handle the tasks involved. Given the potential hazards of the environment, we are asking that parents not bring children under the age of 10 to the ditch cleanup event. All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the church by 7:45am.
Men’s Retreat
Join us at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Clear Lake beginning with supper Friday evening and ending with lunch on Saturday. Our sessions will focus on the theme of Running to Finish Well as we study how to live a life of purpose–as God defines purpose. Cost for meals and lodging: $80 Other optional activities during the retreat include: · Golf Friday afternoon · Disc golf tournament Saturday afternoon

Women’s Journaling Workshop
This is a workshop on the importance of journaling, examples and styles of journaling as well as different techniques. This will be a place to learn, study, share, inspire and grow creatively in the Word of God. One journal and some craft supplies will be provided per person. You may also bring your own supplies to share, as well. Please register here.
