- Read Exodus 20:1-6 where the first two of the Ten Commandments are listed. Concerning the difference between these first two commandments Pastor said: “The first commandment has to do with worshiping the right God and the 2nd commandment has to do with worshiping the right God the right way. The first commandment forbids false gods and the 2nd commandment forbids false worship. The first commandment deals with who we worship and the 2nd commandment deals with how we worship.” Explain in your own words the difference between these first two commandments and what it practically means for you individually and Lakeside corporately:
