- One of the basic bible study principles is always to prepare Scripture with Scripture to determine the validity of a principle or passage of Scripture. With that in mind read Exodus 2:11-25 and then read Acts 7:20-29. Write down as many insights as you can from the Acts passage that you would not have gleaned if you just read the Exodus passage:
