Science Module
Join us for a timely discussion on how strong Christian faith and sound scientific thought CAN co-exist. Guest speaker Dr. Fredrik Sandberg will discuss his personal journey through the scientific field and how God led him from an atheistic worldview to preparing for full-time ministry as a church planter and re-planter in Ireland. Night at Iowa Cubs
We are planning a Lakeside evening with the Iowa Cubs at Principal Park on August 15th. Bring your family and invite some friends! Stay after the game for some great fireworks! Contact the church office for instructions on purchasing tickets.
Church on the Square
Bring a lawn chair and join us on August 17th & 24th for Church on the Polk City Square. We will have one service at 9:30am. August 24th will be a special service as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Lakeside, witness believers take a step of obedience by being baptized, and enjoy a picnic after the service.

Kids 4 Truth Parent Meeting
Kids 4 Truth incorporates singing, Bible study, scripture memorization, games, and other fun activities while teaching kids about God, Jesus, and the Bible. We invite anyone kindergarten – 5th grade to register. We encourage all parents to attend this meeting to find out more details.

Smaller, more intimate groups allow us to fellowship with one another, keep each other accountable in our spiritual walk, and lift each other up by doing life together throughout the week.

Pizza with the Pastors

Starting Point
New to Lakeside? Want to get plugged into a Growth Group? Then join us for our summer Starting Point Group! Starting Point is for anyone newer to Lakeside. We will be going through “Stranger on the Road to Emmaus.” This book covers the great themes of the Bible – God’s message to mankind. Starting Point is the entry point into Lakeside’s Growth Groups. Childcare is provided.
Fall Ditch Clean-Up
Join us as we clean up our adopted stretch of Hwy 415. We want to ensure that everyone who participates in the cleanup event is safe and able to handle the tasks involved. Given the potential hazards of the environment, we are asking that parents not bring children under the age of 10 to the ditch cleanup event. All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the church by 7:45am.
