This year’s retreat will be at Hidden Acres Christian Center in Dayton, IA on January 12-14. Cost for SubZero is $119 if registered by 12/18, $135 after 12/18.
Students will leave from Lakeside on Friday afternoon after school and return around noon on Sunday. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to grow in God’s Word, build stronger friendships, and get equipped to represent Jesus back home.
This year’s speaker is Jon Nemmers, lead pastor of Eden Church, our newest Engage church plant in Des Moines. In addition to 3 awesome sessions, students will enjoy camp activities throughout the weekend including swimming, dodgeball, basketball, volleyball tournaments, rec games and more!
This is our 14th year of SubZero and the retreat has always been very beneficial both in how our students are challenged through God’s Word and in how it brings our group together. We pack a lot of learning, bonding and fun into just a few short days!
