- The Israelites were commanded to memorialize the Exodus event for the benefit of future generations. Write down and share a time when God clearly worked in your life that would be an encouragement to those listening or even possibly struggling:
- The Scriptures refer to the “strong hand of the Lord” numerous times. Look up the following verses and write down any encouragement you draw from that phrase: Exodus 6:1; 13:9,14,16; Nehemiah 1:10; Psalm 89:13; 136:12; Isaiah 8:11; Jeremiah 32:21
- The blessings, like God’s mercies, are new every morning. But with the blessings God also allows burdens, some heavy and almost unbearable, so that we might remain focused on Him and trusting in Him only. What an encouraging truth is found in Exodus 14:14″The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Oh how difficult to be silent and yet oh how precious to have the LORD fight for you.
