Thirst is what we call our student ministries here at Lakeside. Psalm 42:2 says “…my soul thirsts for God…” We all have been created for God and for fellowship with God, and in our lives and at the core of our being there is a vacuum that only God could fill. We desire to know God more and to make Him famous.

Our Goals

The youth ministry of Lakeside Fellowship strives to meet these goals:

  • We want students to be known and cared for by other students and adults.
  • We want students to form deep, authentic relationships with peers and adults.
  • We want students to grow spiritually.
  • We want students to learn what it means to follow Christ.
  • We want students to explore God’s Word together.
  • We want students to see adults who love Jesus

What We Do

We meet twice a week on a regular basis: During the school year we meet on Sunday nights in small groups from 5:30-7pm in various homes, and Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:45pm at Lakeside’s building. It is our desire that every student who connects with our ministry gets involved in a small group with an adult leader. Small groups are made up of 3-8 students of the same age and gender and 1-2 adult leaders. The goal of a small group is to develop caring relationships that help everyone to know Christ better. These groups also get together at various times for group activities planned by the leader.
