We want our children to learn that God is fun and creative, and He loves them. Because much of our children’s value system is determined during their younger years, we desire to teach them, not just babysit them. We share the Bible in a fun and exciting way that encourages our children to live for God. Our programs are designed so that our children WANT to come to church every week.

Sunday Mornings

Ages 0-36 mo.

During our worship service we have a safe nursery and fun environment for children 0-36 months of age. When you come in there will be a sign directing you to our nursery. Sign your child in on the table outside and leave them to play with our caring workers.

Ages 3yrs – 1st Grade

During our worship service, Lakeside provides a Children’s Church class for 3 and 4 year olds and another class for children in Kindergarten-1st grade where kids learn a Bible lesson with activities and crafts to reinforce what they are being taught.

Sunday Nights

Ages 4yrs – 5th Grade

On Sunday nights during the school year, we provide a children’s program called Kids 4 Truth. It runs from 5:30-7:00 pm and meets at our building at 302 S. 3rd Street. Kids 4 Truth uses the Bible to teach children what to believe about God and why to believe it.

We take caring for your children seriously. All of our children’s workers have been through an application process, training and a criminal background check. We want to serve you and your family and welcome all comments, suggestions, and questions.
