FAQ

What should I wear?

We really don’t care as long as you are comfortable. You won’t see many ties or dresses, but if you want to wear a tuxedo and formal gown you’ll probably have no problem getting people to talk to you! Most of the guys wear shorts or jeans, and the gals wear pants or a dress. Our pastor normally wears jeans or slacks with a button down shirt.

What should I bring

You, your family, and a Bible. If you don’t have a Bible, we would love to give you one. Just stop by the welcome table in the main hallway and pick one up

What is your music like?

Our pastor says that it is on the conservative side of contemporary. We’re not exactly sure what that means, but we have a band that consists of guitars, drums, keyboard and multiple vocalists.

We use music to worship our Savior Jesus, and many of the songs we sing will focus on what He did at the cross. Our worship in music is also a great time to prepare your heart for the message that will be preached.

We have a great worship leader, and our music is definitely one of the highlights of a Sunday morning.

Do you do any weird visitor recognition?

We won’t make you wear anything; we don’t mark your hand with a fluorescent marker; and we certainly won’t make you stand up in the middle of the service. What you will find is lots of people introducing themselves and getting to know you.

How big is your church?

On a typical Sunday morning we have between 230 and 250 people.

What are the age ranges of people in your church?

We have a wide age range with everyone from infants to older saints. Our biggest age group is young families.

Do you take offerings/how are you funded?

We are funded by our members and other individuals who choose to give. While we believe that giving to the church is very important and an awesome act of worship, we don’t take a formal offering where we “pass the plate.” There is a small box in the back for those want to give.

What do you believe about…?

Please visit this page on our site for more information about our core beliefs. If you have a specific question, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What denomination are you?

We are a non-denominational church.

What is available for my kids?

On Sunday mornings, we have a nursery for kids 2yrs and younger and a children’s church for kids 3yrs through 2nd grade.

On Sunday nights during the school year, we have a fun program called Kids 4 Truth. It is for kids 4yrs old through 5th grade. You can find more info here.

How long is the service?

Our services in the morning start at 10 a.m. and typically last until 11:30 or 11:45.
