College & Singles

Our college age students and singles have a small group Bible study where we get together with others in the same stage of life and learn about what Christ can do with our lives. Join us Tuesdays from 7-8:30 p.m. We meet at the church building for a time of teaching, accountability and prayer.

Women

At Lakeside one of our goals is to nurture relationships among women and encourage women to live Christ-centered lives by offering opportunities for biblical teaching, mentoring, outreach, and for utilizing their spiritual gifts. We know that women need other women to come along side and encourage them, share with them, and just listen to them. We hope to meet these needs through:

  • Bible studies: usually meeting every other Saturday morning at various times during the year, our studies might be topic-based or focused on a specific book of the Bible.
  • Homes of Light: a new opportunity for women to open their homes in order to share Christ with others.
  • Rejoice: a yearly Christmas event celebrating the change Christ can make in your life.
  • Faith Lift: a spring women’s retreat focusing on becoming more Christ-like
  • Wee Ones: done in conjunction with a sister church, this event is a community outreach that meets the needs of mothers with young children and gives us an opportunity to share the love of Christ with them.
  • Mentoring: prayer-driven relationships that we encourage and Christ controls.
  • Various other events such as coffee & testimony nights, Ladies Night Out, and game nights.

Men

Proverbs 27:17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” At Lakeside we want our men to be leaders in their homes, the church, and in the community and we believe the best way to accomplish this is for each man to be challenged and encouraged by other godly men in our church.

We have a number of ways that we are doing this including prayer breakfasts, sports leagues, small groups and our annual Men’s Retreat.

At Lakeside you will be challenged to be a godly man and to take responsibility for your family.
